NEWARK, N.J.  — Several New Jersey students will go back to school in style this year thanks to Walmart and PIX11.

PIX11 News teamed up with Walmart to give 11 kids in New Jersey, range from 1st to 8th grade.

They were able to get whatever they need for school, from shoes to shirts.

“This was the best day of my life,” said one little girl from L.I.F.E. Academy in Newark.

With most schools starting this week, the shopping spree came just in time.

“We are so appreciative for the help to get our kids dressed for success. We have the best scholars and we appreciate it. Thank you for all that you do,” said Jessica Shearer, a teacher from KIPP New Jersey schools.
